Your measurements stay in the browser

The ring tool, finger tool, calculator and converter process entries locally. The application does not send ring sizes, measurements or calibration values to a server, and does not store measurement history.

A card is only a physical reference held against the screen. We do not ask for card numbers, card photographs, a camera, an account or an email address.

What is saved on this device

Screen calibration

Choosing “Save calibration” stores the screen scale, reference length, card-or-ruler method and calibration date. It also stores browser display signals: pixel ratio, viewport scale, screen and available-screen dimensions, and colour/pixel depth. These help detect scale changes; they are not sent to a server.

Colour theme

Choosing Light or Dark saves that preference. Auto follows your operating system and removes the saved preference.

Measurements and results

These are held in page memory, not saved in browser storage. Exiting the measurement tool clears its active measurements and result. Calculator and converter entries are not written to a saved history.

Calibration can be reused for up to 30 days if the display signals match. An expired record is removed when the calibration code next checks it; there is no background deletion timer. A saved theme remains until you change it to Auto or clear site data. If browser storage is unavailable, calibration and theme controls still work for the current page session.

Alternatively, open screen calibration and choose “Recalibrate” to remove the old calibration, or select Auto in the colour-theme control. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Page requests, cookies and analytics

Loading pages, images, scripts and PDFs makes ordinary requests to the site serving these files. The serving system receives connection information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser information, and may keep access logs. Hosting log settings and retention are separate from the app's local measurement processing.

The current application sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising pixels, session recordings or third-party tracking scripts. Its page assets are served from the same site. Measurement values are not placed in URLs, request bodies or analytics events by the app.

Copying results and downloading guides

“Copy result” writes the result to your device's clipboard only when you choose it. If clipboard access is unavailable, the tool offers selectable text. Clipboard history or sync is controlled by your device settings; this app does not manage or erase it.

The printable PDFs contain the shared sizing reference, not your personal measurements. Downloads require no signup. Your browser manages downloaded files and may retain them until you delete them.
